Scar Revision And Skin Rejuvenation
When we’re young our skin produces collagen. As we age our collagen production breaks down causing telltale lines and wrinkles.
ELOS Sublative is a focused treatment designed to bypass the upper layers of the skin and work directly on the collagen underneath, refining the surface of the skin from the inside out. The sublative handpiece delivers RF energy deep into the skin in the form of a matrix. Healthy skin around the matrix dots begins the healing process. New collagen production begins.
This technology is Safe for use on all skin types. It has been shown to effectively treat, mild to moderate wrinkles, acne scarring, red and brown spots, textural irregularities, loss of radiance, stretch marks and enlarged/ open pores. Because this treatment uses Bi-polar Radio Frequency apposed to laser this treatment can be carried out on the delicate eye area, smoothing wrinkles and creating a lifting effect opening up the eye area. It can also be used on the neck, décolletage, face and back while also treating stretch marks on the abdomen, arms and legs
Sublative treatments are perfect for anyone looking to rejuvenate the texture of the skin. Weather the skin concern is fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, large pores, brown spots or stretch marks, this can work wonders. During the treatment you can expect to feel a warm prickly sensation as the energy enters the skin. We can use topical anaesthetic to reduce these sensations.
NOTE: Individual Results May Vary
Sublative Rejuvenation is a non-invasive treatment that does not require injections. The laser stimulates the patient's own collagen to remodel and restructure and does not rely on temporary substance filler.
The procedure is a bit uncomfortable, although this is minimized by the topical anesthetic that is put on the skin prior to the treatment for 30 minutes. Expected side effects are redness and swelling after the procedure that lasts from hours to days. Prior to treatment all potential risks and side effects will be discussed with you by your consultant.
Most patients have redness and swelling for a few hours to 3 days after the treatment (occasionally it can last longer). You may apply make-up to the treated area immediately after the procedure. Tiny crusts develop and are present for about 5-10 days, but these are easy to camouflage with makeup or even without it after the first one to two days. Results will develop over time and with subsequent treatments. Full results can be appreciated at three to six months following the last treatment.
